Those who have read my blog for any length of time know that I shared all of the struggles… all of the hard times. All the tears and frustrations. The job losses, the vehicle repossessions, the utility disconnections, the ramen noodles and corn dog nights. No one tried to act funny with me back then. Now that we’re doing well for ourselves, I’m not supposed to be elated about it? I shouldn’t share the fact that we’re secure and enjoying just LIVING life instead of fighting through it like we had to do for so many years? That doesn’t balance out… does it? Yet, I keep getting the feeling that certain people in particular are doing this competing thing to make sure I know that they still have it better than we do.
At the end of the day, if you’re happy with where you are then my question is… who cares?
