Living in your glory
Grateful of this path
Wonderment embracing
All the aftermath
Were you ever absent
Or did I never really look?
Did you really leave me needy
Or was I always overbooked?
Perhaps I stayed too busy
To open up my heart
To accept salvation
Or unlock the parts I blocked
Whatever was the reason
I may not ever know
But I thank You for being persistent
And gently bending me until I broke.
