Over the last few weeks, I have been finding myself frequently catching a few minutes here and there to scan through some of my older blog posts and I came to a realization that stunned me: God isn’t nearly as evident in my writing anymore as he was years ago. He has allowed us to reach a point where we aren’t lacking or needing or stressing. We barely even notice when we spend in a day or two what used to have to last us two weeks. I’ve gotten to where I love that security. It’s exciting to just go do what we want to do. It makes me happy to be able to get things we want in addition to having everything we need! But what’s it all worth if it takes my eyes off of the Lord of my life?
