We never do Christmas lists. Ever. I’ve always felt like it was rude… they’re GIFTS; you aren’t supposed to tell someone what to get you as a gift. This year, however, I decided to let the kids write out suggestions :) Basically, you give me an idea of what you get excited about and I’ll use it as inspiration while we’re Christmas shopping. lol

Tre hasn’t given me his yet so I’m listing the things he’s mentioned verbally… he’s pretty easy going. Get him some games, clothes, and a couple of neat gadgets and he’s good to go. The girls? They had their lists to me within a half hour, except Zoe of course… she can’t write, but she can sure point to photos in a Walmart sales paper and say, “This one, mama!!!!” I’m italicizing what we already got:

I won’t be getting everything on their lists because we got them other things, but I did pick out a few things from each list so that they’ll get some of what they specifically asked for. Barry and I had already gotten a ton of stuff before I even let them do the lists and Briyana went with me to shop for the other girls so a lot of her list hasn’t been touched yet. I’m going to go shopping 2-3 more times before Christmas (waiting to see what the after Thanksgiving sales are going to offer!) but one thing is for sure: they’re going to LOVE Christmas morning, as usual lol

What do YOUR kids want for Christmas?

Does your family do lists? What type of holiday traditions do you have regarding gifts?
