Zoe, My 2-Year-Old Problem Solver!

Posted by on Aug 16, 2010 in 5- Zoe Ayana | 5 comments | 485 views

Zoe is my 2 year old genius baby. She’s too smart for my own good… and tonight, she proved this even further than she previously has. She brought me her empty Sonic cup and pointed to my route 44 sweet tea — then pointed back to her empty cup. Zoe is a pointer. She uses that little index finger to say what her mouth is too lazy to blurt out. She’s spoiled, what can I say? LOL So, I look into the cup and notice that there are about five holes up and down the sides of it. I said, “Go get your sippy cup. I’m not pouring drink into that cup — it has holes in it.” Zoe peered into the cup, saw the holes, looked back at me perplexed, then grinned and walked away. She came back a few minutes later with this for me to pour some of my drink into:

LOOK MOM! No more holes… :)

Until next time...

How cute! Kids think of things that adults never would! They’re not as complicated as we are lol! However, my young neighbor did refer to a camel as a “dog with an extra booty on top”. He didn’t know what a camel was and that the extra “booty” is called a camel hump! It was funny! Blessings!

OMG! I’m not surprised. Nothing she does surprises me anymore. But that certainly takes the cake! That’s our little Zoe Bug – the Baby Genius (or at least, one of them! There was you…and then along came Bri, and Tre, and Talia and Ava…) Let’s see.. are there any more? I can’t keep up anymore:)!!!

That’s my Zoe. She is TOO cutie. I remember I was on the phone with you when she did this. She is too smart. And I agree with her, why should she have to talk when she can point and everyone else jumps up? lol

    Take care,
    Shynea
