The Plantronics Explorer 395 bluetooth earpiece definitely ended up winning out when compared to my Jawbone Icon which sells for twice the cost. I enjoyed it SO much that I actually ended up “adopting” my husband’s. Sorry, sweetie. It sits snug and secure on the ear without sliding or moving. One thing that annoys me is when I move around and a bluetooth device begins to dangle on my ear and need to be repositioned. I literally forget at times that I’m even wearing it. It is VERY comfortable and the call quality is actually much clearer than even holding my cell phone to my ear!
Not only that, but the one thing I love is that it has a pretty decent range so when my phone needs to be charged, I don’t have to stop my conversation. I can plug my phone up in the living room and never have any interference as I move around in the laundry room, office, and kitchen working, cleaning, or cooking. There is about a 15-foot distance from my cell phone from any of those areas with walls in between and I have no problem with it losing connection. Another plus? I don’t remember ever actually needing to charge it. Every couple of days, I stick it on the charger while I’m not using it and it has been a reliable device – always ready when I need it!
