Happy Father’s Day… Happy Birthday… & a trip home :)

Wednesday, we loaded up and headed back to our hometown to take Barry’s cousin’s 6 year old daughter home who had been staying with us for almost a month. The kids had SUCH a good visit with her – I swear it was neverending playing, giggling, and messes the entire time LOL :)

During the less-than-24-hours we were in Hattiesburg, we decided to celebrate Father’s Day (which is tomorrow in case you’ve forgotten) and Zoe’s birthday (which is in 8 days… she’ll be two). Here are a few pictures for all of you who are involved in our lives from a distance – I SO love and appreciate you!

My hubby was sporting the T-shirt I got him for Father’s Day from Fibers.com.
It says: “He’s a proud Father … because I follow His Son.” (front)
Barry Robertson, Christian” (back)

This will definitely serve as blackmail at some point in the future :)

Briyana is SO silly… she keeps everyone laughing.
Except when she’s supposed to be doing chores.

{My restroom photo session} Yes, these happen a lot. LOL

My stepdad, Chris, and my hubby, Barry :) HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to two awesome Dads!!!

The cookie cake we got for them.
Overlook the names – the froster had HORRIBLE handwriting.

The card I got Barry – well, one of them. I did get him a super mushy one as well :)

Barry is beating Tre at Checkers.

Tre is contemplating his next move very carefully!

Now, Tre is beating Barry at Checkers LOL

Zoe’s birthday gifts from my Mom and I :)

Zoe’s birthday cake. HOW did my baby get to be two years old already? *tears*

Yes, I almost cried walking through WalMart buying all her birthday things…
and again, the froster had HORRIBLE handwriting. :( lol

Fooooooooooood :)

Zoe is checking out all the happenings in the kitchen.
She thinks, “I wonder how much damage I can do…”

Zoe decided she would help… anyone want chili?

She snuck a quick taste of the cake. No one will really notice, right?

She’s WAY too proud of her destructive handiwork LOL

Tre and Briyana are SO ready for a slice of that cake.

… Happy Birthday tooooooo youuuuuu!!!! …
And, yes, we totally forgot the candles :( Oops.

Briyana’s SUCH a great big sister. She’s helping Zoe get into her presents.

Talia is trying to talk Zoe out of one of her Maracas. LOL

Zoe’s cell phone records and plays her voice back. Soooooo cool! haha

Talia may have had no luck with the Maracas, but she scored big on the tambourine!

Avalyn hoarded the drums :)

Ohhhh, so THAT is what big sister was up to. She wanted to be the whistle blower!
I knew there was a reason she was being helpful without solicitation!

My precious little birthday girl :) I love you, Zoe!

… and it’s all over …

Until next time...

What beautiful pictures.I like that shirt from Fibers. I have to check that site out. That is so funny about the candles, lol. Zoe looks so cute helping with the chili and getting some quick cake. Perfect things for the birthday girl to do!

I’m glad to see that y’all had a good Father’s Day and that Zoe had a good birthday party. I don’t think I have ever seen her with her hair all of the way down. For a minute I didn’t know whose little girl that was. :) She is a cutie.

    Take care,
    Shynea
