Father's Day Gift Guide 2010

As someone whose father was never around to be involved in my life, I can attest to how important a Dad is - especially in a little girl’s life. I believe not having mine shaped my perspective about good fathers and makes me appreciate those I’ve come into contact with, such as my grandfather who did everything to fill the void for me … and my husband whose unconditional love for his children has driven him, motivated him, and encouraged him to be the man he is. A good father is one who knows he isn’t perfect, but strives to be; one who may not always know what to do or what to say, but is always there; one whose touch, presence, or look can make you feel at ease – safe, secure, and loved – even in the absence of words.

In recognizing all the wonderful Dads everywhere, Father’s Day is a celebration of everything that makes them who they are as well as an opportunity for them to hear a few “thanks” and be reminded of how much of an impact they’ve made not only in the lives of their children, but everyone who has taken wisdom from their example. You can never “gift” Dad too much for everything he’s done so for those of you who need suggestions this time of year, here are just a few to get you started!

The Kodak EasyShare Z950 is one of the latest in a long line of excellent products developed by Kodak. With 12.2 MP, 10x optical zoom with image stabilization, Schneider Kreuznach Variogon lens, and 3″ high resolution LCD screen, the EasyShare Z950 does a lot of boasting before it ever makes it out of the box. For those who have been turned off by Kodak products in the past: this one is worth testing your conclusions! I’ve owned two Kodak digital cameras, the last of which was back in 2004. I don’t remember the exact model, but I do remember not being completely impressed with it… My experience with it turned me away from Kodak for future purchases.
