Who doesn’t love watching the Oscars? All the greatest of the great from the big screen all in one place! The 82nd academy awards ceremony is in less than 26 hours at the Kodak Theater… I don’t know about all of you but despite the fact that I don’t normally watch television, my husband and I love curling up for a good movie and certainly have our favorite actors and actresses. By this time tomorrow, I will be cooking up a good dinner and getting ready to sit down for a night of celebrating the most talented names in the film industry…
Who Are My Picks?
I’m SO glad you asked. Here is a run down of who would be winning the main awards if I were able to rig the cards (hehe):
- Best Picture: Precious… I know some people hated it, but I’m a sucker for movies like this.
- Actor in a Leading Role: Morgan Freeman is ALWAYS going to have my vote out of that lineup! Sorry, George Clooney fans!
- Actor in a Supporting Role: Matt Damon
- Actress in a Leading Role: Meryl Streep… Oh COME ON people… she’s MERYL STREEP! Although, Sandra Bullock would SO run a close second.
- Actress in a Supporting Role: Mo’Nique, hands DOWN!
- Animated Feature Film: The Princess and the Frog
Needless to say, I’m excited to watch the awards show tomorrow. What will you be doing during the awards? More importantly, what will you be EATING? lol Y’all know I am all about good food and well, awards and food just go together, especially when you’re watching from your living room! If you’re unsure, Hyundai can help! Personally, the Inglorious Custards is what I have my eye on but it may just be because of the clever play on words :)
