Talia just walked up to my desk and gave me a very confused look. She cocked her head to the side, appearing extremely perplexed and just stared at me. I gave her the side-eye-glance, asking myself if I really wanted to know what was on her mind. Talia is the child that has no filter between her brain and her mouth. You never know what verbiage will result from *that look* in her eye. I was feeling extra brave this afternoon so I took the bait.
Me: Yes, Talia?
Talia: What’s wrong with your face?
Me: {rolling eyes, regretting even having initiated this conversation} Um, what do you mean what’s wrong with my face?
Talia: You look… I mean… It looks like you have make up on.
Me: That’s because I do have make up on.
Talia: {cringing as though I had disgraced women everywhere} For WHAT?!
See, people. This is why I don’t do “girly” very often. LOL My daughters think I’ve developed some sort of sickness… *sigh* That’s ok. Little haters. haha
