Mailchimp Just Keeps Getting Better

For those who missed it, be sure to check out my previous writeup on MailChimp for email marketing, be sure to read it :) Since it was written, MailChimp has improved even more. Not only have they increased the capacity of their “forever free” account {up to 500 subscribers and 3000 monthly emails!} but they have added some awesome features and begun supporting some extremely functional integrations that make their service even more amazing than before! Rather than only using my MailChimp account to send manual campaigns, I am now utilizing the service to send daily digests to my blog subscribers as well. It’s simple to set up and makes customizing the notifications sent to my readers alerting them of updates as well as tracking who is viewing the digest a piece of cake! MailChimp also allows you to merge several feeds into one digest for people like me who have separate blog installations which serve as sections of the same website.

How do I set up this service?

Log into your account and click on the CAMPAIGNS tab. Follow the steps to set up an RSS campaign and voila – you’re good to go. Just one of the many wonderful features MailChimp provides with its awesome service. :)

Try MailChimp out for yourself & get up to 3 months of free service!

Click any “MailChimp” link in this email to sign up under my referral code. You will automatically get $30 credited to your account when you upgrade from the free version to a monthly or pay-as-you-go account! Sweeeeeeet!

Until next time...
