As a blogger, I work very hard to provide my readers with a reason to keep coming back day after day. I LOVE blogging… not only for all of you, but for myself. Blogging gives me a chance to really reflect on life in a way I wouldn’t otherwise. I sit down and think about all the amazing – and not-so-amazing – things that go on in my family and I preserve those memories by recording them on For the Love of Chaos. I think about the good, the bad, and the ugly in society and around the world – in the media, online, etc. – and I am able to use For the Love of 2Cents as my outlet to vent my frustration or share what has touched me… or even to take a stand in advocacy.

When my blog is recognized by being presented with an award or displayed as a weekly/monthly feature on another site, it reminds me that my words have a certain reach… that people are listening and that I am succeeding in whatever capacity influenced their selection. Whether that means I am entertaining, inspiring, encouraging, uplifting, educating, increasing awareness, or simply building friendships, it gives me a great sense of pride to know that my work isn’t going completely unnoticed LOL!!

A couple of weeks ago, I was featured as the Lifetime Moms’ Mom of the Week which was SO exciting… I love the Lifetime Movie Network and to be featured on one of their websites was certainly an honor! I’m a sucker for a tear jerking movie so when I’m in bed on the nights my husband is working, the television is almost always on LMN! Likewise, About.com has always been a great resource for such a wide array of topics that it’s hard to NOT love their website. Now, I have been chosen by About.com’s Stay At Home Moms site as their Mom Blogger of the Week! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am. Thanks SO much to Apryl Duncan for selecting me for the feature. I VERY MUCH appreciate it!!!

Be sure to hop over to view my feature {Mom Blogger of the Week} and leave a review of my blog! :) Thanks in advance!!!
