Anyone who operates a blog in the online parenting community has heard of Stephanie Nielson of Nie Nie Dialogues and the horrific ordeal her family went through August 2008 when she and her husband were involved in a plane crash and were burned so badly they both were in medically-induced comas; her husband for 6 weeks and Stephanie for 3 months. No matter what circles you mingle in, that is one story that poured out among us all at some point over the last year.
The twin moms behind the website 5minutesformom.com never cease to amaze me. They have a beautiful write up on their site including an embedded video interview the Nielsons did with MSNBC for Thanksgiving last week. It is the ultimate true-life story of how love, faith, and the strength of family can conquer anything.
