And I have to say, Kat, what an amazing use of a Steel Magnolias quote you've made. Well done!!! You know most plagues start as just a few boils. I've lived in the South my entire life and, unfortunately, every time I feel like we are rising slightly above the stereotypical views of us, some moron pulls us right back down. I love that so many families are standing up for themselves. Kat, maybe you should invite Mr. Judge to your home. It sounds like he could definately benefit from witnessing first hand the love, joy and confidence of five well-rounded children like yours. They are beautiful!!! Another friend of mine, with a multicultural family, is helping her "unaccepted" children make cards to send to the judge, letting him know that they love him, because the Lord loves him and they are praying (as a family) for him and the interracial families living in his parrish. I actually think that this is good for us (IR couples).
When it is said out loud in mainstream society, people can really hear themselves. And, for a change, get feedback from other people outside their little world. He will be kicked to the curb.

I hope that they win their lawsuit and that this judge is removed from office.
