Vlog: Stop, ladies… it’s not attractive.

It disappoints me to see how offensive women can be to other women without caring … if you can’t build someone up, then just leave them be.

Until next time...

You bring up a lot of really great points here. I’ve never been someone who could take someone complaining about someone else’s life very seriously. I hate gossip, it isn’t anyone’s business how another person is living their life, as long as they are happy in their life and the way that they are living. It’s no one’s business to judge another person, and as you said in your video, who’s minding your business? People really need to be comfortable with themselves and happy with how their life is and leave everyone else alone.

    First of all…you look maavvvelous!

Second, placing judgement on others is a full time job of many people. Humans have this need to come out on top as #1. But, it is too hard for most people to do that by living your life as a good human being. It takes effort. So, they create a diversion and tell other people what is wrong with them. I see/hear it all the time. Mention something you child did wrong and you’ll get “Oh, my little Johnny would have never done that. You are not a good parent.”

Anyone who judges another knows good and well that they don’t want someone looking behind their closed doors. Every single one of us has imperfections, lessons learned (or not), ans some great stories to tell.

Great Vlog. I am 20 and the single mother of two beautiful babies and your vlog made me feel good. People judge me quite often and most of the time it is other moms.

Kat, I loved this vlog. Especially the part at the end where you said “While you’re minding someone else’s business, who’s minding yours?” Priceless. Loves it! That should be a quote on a t-shirt. You couldn’t have said it any better. I feel that women do have a tendency to judge, and cross-compare, each other’s life. I won’t say that I’m safe from it, because I do do it from time-to-time.

It still baffles me that how women, even after many years of being out of high school, will still act like they are in high school. They will find any type of situation to form a clique, try to fit in and then try to exclude someone. Blogging is like that. You have your cliques in the mommysphere. And it’s so sad. But to just say, “why can’t we all just get along” would be an understatement.

I know for a fact that all women will NEVER get along with each other. That there will ALWAYS be some kind of conflict between us. But to the extent where we are judging? Degrading each other? I just want to say “Grow up and let’s be adults about it.”

Take care and sorry for the blog entry. :)
