My husband has been “fussy” because he’s tired of eating the same things all the time, SO I had to find some new things to try out. One thing I haven’t made in years are pigs-in-blankets. That’s what we had for lunch yesterday. It only takes about 15-18 minutes for prep & cook time combined, so I though I would share the idea with you all! {Yeah, go ahead… thank me.} LOL :)
Ingredients:
- Pillsbury crescent roll dough (8-pack)
- Hot dogs {I use all-chicken hot dogs, but any will do}
Directions: Roll out the dough and separate the 8 sections. Roll a hot dog in each section, put it on a non-stick cookie sheet {or aluminum foil sprayed with Pam cooking spray like I do} and cook them for about 12 minutes at 350-375. I made french fries with mine which I also baked right alongside the pigs-in-blankets in the oven. {The fries take a little longer, but by the time you put the dogs on plates and get drinks poured, you’ll be taking the fries out to distribute!}
This is what you come out with when you’re done… YUM!

I haven’t made Pigs-In-A-Blanket in a LONG time. This brings back memories and I am definitely going to have to make this for my boys soon.
