When I stay up this late…

I always seem to start falling into reflection mode. I think about how precious my kiddos are… how fast they’re growing… and then of course as the years wind back in my head, I always am led to – the hubby. Looking back over all the CrAzInEsS that we’ve seen throughout the years, it’s really a wonder that we’re still kicking; well, together anyway. I started looking at old blog posts, realizing how young we started out, how fast we had to grow up, what terrible mistakes we made along the way – and then I look up and see where we are and I’m amazed. I love Barry more than ever… and here we are, after all the odds stacked against us – TOGETHER. Five kids, two college degrees, and 8 years of marriage later; no one (including us) ever saw us making it this far.

Who gets the glory? GOD! If it were up to us, I’m sure we would have given up on this journey a long time ago. It’s been rough. VERY rough. But it’s all been worth it and I can honestly say I love my life. I know that God is still working on us, still preparing us, still molding us… still pushing us into our Purpose in Him and I am SO excited to see where that leads.

My babies are awesome. Even when they are terrible, they are amazing and wonderful and perfect… I am so thankful for them. I love them SO much and even though Avalyn talks me into a headache DAILY, I would never even dream of changing ONE thing about our life. I have a wonderful husband and five precious children who adore me. I’m the richest woman in the world :)
