There are so many things God has done in my life, and lately I’ve found myself reflecting more on those things. The last few years have presented numerous distractions, which God used to teach me a great deal of things about Him, and about what can happen within oneself when you allow things to come before – or become priority over – your relationship with God. Most of us say, “Oh I would never let that happen.” Don’t be so quick to think you know what can and cannot creep into your life. The devil is a sly creature – and he’s had plenty of years of experience perfecting the art of cunningly maneuvering his way in. This is one of the MAIN reasons we have to pray without ceasing, keeping our minds on God ALWAYS without fail. I allowed myself to slowly and gradually pray less and less until I had gotten myself into a horrible habit of thinking it was acceptable to be “too tired” or “too busy”… what a dangerous conception!

Thankfully, God delivered me from that thinking and strengthened my faith with yet another testimony of His mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Now – through Christ, I am stronger than ever and on FIRE for the purpose He set for me. God has worked out so many amazing things and has literally taken my breath away with the things He’s been revealing in such perfect timing. He’s opened doors and given us something that we had almost forgotten about in all of our busy-ness and haste: HOPE… and the knowledge that GOD always has a plan for tomorrow. Knowing that allows me to relax and enJOY today! :)

I love the Lord. He has touched my heart, blessed my ministry, and kept my mind. I encourage everyone to look within yourself and ask what it is that you are allowing to take priority over your relationship with God. Focus your energy on relieving yourself of whatever it may be that prevents you from being completed devoted to being obedient and serving Him. Then… begin praying for God to make a way for you to rid your life of those things. Ask Him to take from you whatever it is that is holding you back spiritually.

Don’t be scared to let go of those things even if the world tells you that you are crazy because in the end, God will start to open doors to opportunities that you never imagined you would have; He will poor blessings into your life that will blow your mind! Give God the chance to take YOUR breath away today… in ways that ONLY HE is able!

Until next time...
