Briyana had her Kindergarten graduation this morning! She was so cute… they played a nice little slide presentation with music and pictures from the whole year, including their two field trips to Davison trucking and the Ruston Regional airport. I almost cried. My little girl is growing up. It’s so hard to imagine that just a few short years ago, she was a little baby like Avalyn… and what’s even harder to imagine is that watching my beautiful Briyana walking up to be presented with her certificate of completion, I realized that it seems like just yesterday that she was just a baby… which means that tomorrow, I will be watching Avalyn do the things Briyana is doing now… and I will have seen Tre and Talia do them too.
All my babies are not babies anymore. Briyana is a talented, intelligent, and gorgeous little 6 year old… Tre is a talkative, lively, active little 4 year old, Talia is a sassy, bossy, sly little 3 year old, and Avalyn is learning things that some babies don’t learn until they are almost a year old, like standing up on her own and saying her first words!!! Thanks both of y’all! :) I know Leondra- I LOVED the deep wine color of the robes! It looked great on her! And yes, Susan I was SO proud of her… she had a little part in the program during the ‘Welcome’ where she had a line in front of everyone! It was so cute. I wanted to get it on video but Avalyn was acting up and I was too late handing her to Barry! Oh well… lol
