I’m waiting for Barry to get home so we can clean up… BORED as all get out, and feeding Avalyn. Tre is gone with him, and the girls are cleaning their room (supposedly, but they are more than likely playing LOL)… Ava is 5 weeks old today. Time goes by faster I swear each time you have a child! It’s like WOW five weeks seems like 3 days now!
She’s doing great, growing slowly lol My tiny baby is still tiny… just a little bigger than before :) I am switching her doctor to one here in Ruston… had problems with the one in Arcadia, just wasn’t satisfied with her, so Ava will be going to the same doc as Yana, Tre, and Tia.
Briyana is doing great in school… she makes hundreds on everything she brings home, and is doing better behaviorally than she was at first (she was acting like she was still in daycare, playing and such when she wasn’t supposed to be)… she enjoys school, and has a field trip to the fire station on the 25th… she said parents can come, so Barry is going with her :)
Tre is learning a lot from Briyana… she’s been trying to “teach” him how to read LOL He actually is doing pretty well though! Yana is quite the little teacher LOL :) Tre is getting so big… I didn’t realize how much he had grown over the past year until I brought out the winter clothes. His shirts don’t even go much past his belly button! lol
Talia is still in the terrible twos… I thought we had avoided that stage with her, but she was just a late bloomer I suppose LOL Hopefully it will pass soon cause all the NO’s and LEAVE ME ALONE’s are starting to igg my nerves!! Other than that though, she is doing great. Healthy, happy, and just as smart, if not smarter, than Yana was at that age… she picks up a lot from Briyana so she has that advantage.
Barry is still doing great this season as well… leading the team in tackles, as he has been all season. We are 3-2 unfortunately with losses to Florida, Kansas, and Nevada, but wins against Hawaii and New Mexico State… Homecoming is next week- I can’t wait to see how he does then!!! He has developed a lot over the past year, and improved in many aspects. I am so proud of him. I can’t wait to see what the post season brings :)
As for me, I am doing wonderful… I have 11 pounds left to go until I am at my pre-baby weight, so I am planning on starting an exercise routine with Jena soon. The sooner the better – this extra weight is killing me! lol Well that’s all for now.

Nicole Manary from OBC I just want to say that I love reading about your family the way you talk about your family is really inspirational. Even though I don’t really know you I admire you as a woman, wife, and mother.
Thanks girl :) This little (well, large!) family is all I have ever really had as far as close kinship. My father was never with my mother from the time I was born… my mother wasn’t very close with her family, except her mother and father- my grandparents were very much involved in my life, but my grandfather passed away in 1996 and my grandmother has been in nursing homes for Alzheimer’s for years now. Barry and I have been all each other had since Day 1- and these children are our whole world. Honestly, I can’t imagine my life any other way that it is right now. :) Thanks for your kind words, hun. They are very much appreciated.
