Short update and then off to bed…
Well, we did it. It’s all finally here and everything is falling into place. Barry signed with an agent he is satisfied with and has MUCH faith in. He has trusted the Lord to get us this far and to guide our decisions and Barry has been able to decipher the right path to follow. I am so proud of him. He had a chance to go with a rep under Bus Cook… for those who don’t know much about football, BC Sports Agency represents Brett Favre, Randy Moss, and Steve McNair to name just a few. Barry and I were tempted to at least consider signing with them, but decided against changing our mind. Nate had been to Barry’s games before, had been conversating with us for weeks, and had been showing steady interest in Barry for quite a while. He had already given his word to Nate and Patrick that we intended to hire them to represent Barry, so that was that. It made me that much prouder of Barry that he kept his word. One thing I can say about my husband is that if he tells you he will do something, it will be done just as he said. I respect that about him. I can trust him, and that means a lot.
It was such a long road. It’s not over by a long shot. Actually, it seems to be stretching out longer! But it’s a better road, much smoother than before. And much prettier scenery! Barry has worked long and hard for the things he has begun to acquire and all I can say is that if anyone deserves it, he does. As for the family, the kids are doing good. They have seemed to be a little out of control lately, but they are normal kids. It’s just a little overwhelming to us at times because there are so MANY of them! lol Briyana is still making all perfect grades in Kindergarten and has a lot of friends. She says all her friends and teachers like her because her daddy plays football! lol Tre is getting to be a little man. He is so much like Barry it’s not even funny! Talia is almost potty trained. She went all weekend without an accident but then had one at daycare today… probably just playing and not paying attention to her body’s cues to go potty! She will be 3 Wednesday… hopefully soon she will be completely potty trained! Avalyn is getting so big. My little baby is just precious. She is a little over 3 months now. She is all smiles and is just so happy. She’s growing too quickly for me though. I want her to stay a baby for as long as possible, but that’s what they do… grow up.
Got to see Barry’s boys yesterday…
Y’all they are the best kids. You would not believe how well behaved they are and just SO sweet. We took them to get some shoes and walked around the mall, got a picture of Barry with them done as a sketch in a booth there. Barry and Kylan and Kaleb were all in heaven with each other. It was great… seems like things are falling into place!
My babies….
are growing UP!? Man I am tripping out cause I am not ready for my kids to get big yet!? My oldest just lost her SECOND baby tooth yesterday and she knows how to read! She surprises me sometimes at the things she can sound out! She can read just about ANYTHING. She has made all 100′s on her reading and math tests except for one 98. My youngest has been sleeping through the night since Monday. She goes to bed around 9:30-10pm and doesn’t wake up until 6am or later. I was anxious for the day I didn’t have to wake up during the night with her but DANG I didn’t think it would be so soon! T’Aliyah is now getting potty trained – she actually went “boo boo” in the potty last week, which is something she would NOT do up to this point. And Tre… well shoot what can I say about Tre?? He’s all boy and drives me up the wall half the time but he’s typical, nothing abnormal about him. He’s just a boy trapped in a house full of girls LOL
UGHHHHHH Update……
I just made a long update… was almost done! Had written all about what I have been up to, and had a section for each member of my family as I always do. Well, the FRICKEN power went out for like a half second here and the PC turned off. I hate it when I lose stuff like that DERNIT! So anyway, I am not going over all that again… too much to type so here’s the short version:
I’ve been VERY busy – overwhelmed with work, life, family, new baby, terrible twos, side business, etc. I finally finished my company website: Ruston Chrysler and my Web Design site: Robertson eConsulting. I’m doing good, can’t complain. Just living a very fast paced existence right now and waiting patiently for it to SLOW down lol
Barry is doing GREAT in football this season. Only a few more months until the NFL draft and then we won’t ever know this struggle anymore. Although we won’t ever forget it but that is humbling so it’s a good thing.
Briyana is VERY smart and loving kindergarten. She has learned how to read and that’s all she wants to do. She loves doing 
homework and is still making all 100′s on her tests.
Tre has gotten so much more calm than he used to be. He’s still a little bundle of energy but he isn’t quite as BAD as he used to be. The director at the daycare says that instead of him joining other kids when they do stuff they aren’t supposed to, he will tell his teacher. Awwww… are you sure you are talking about MY Tre?! lol
Talia is going through the terrible twos AND seperation anxiety all at the same time. TALK ABOUT FUN!!!!! (*not*) I remind myself daily: this too shall pass! WHEW!
Avalyn is 2 months old. :( My baby is growing so fast. I had to take her little head support thing out of her carseat last week… I almost cried LOL She slept through the night for the first time last night… went to bed about 9:30pm and didn’t wake up until 6:15am. Then she ate for a few minutes and went back to sleep till almost 8. She is the sweetest thing. She is so happy! I call her mommy’s little smiley baby cause all she does is smile and coo at me :)

Here is an update on all of us:
I am doing fine… working on the company’s website a pretty good bit, and actually almost ready to upload it to the actual site (it’s at my own personal server right now). Other than that, nothing real exciting going on with me.
Barry is doing great with the season… he’s still averaging 8 tackles per game with 48 total, and is still leading the team in tackles. We’re ready for an ALL WAC title at the end of the season :)!!! lol
Briyana is doing great in school… she has made 100 on every reading test they have had so far! She loves her teachers… one of her teachers comes to every home game of Barry’s and Briyana enjoys seeing her there! They have 3 posters with Barry on it in her classroom, and I am sure that makes her feel special to have her Daddy all on the walls in her class!
Tre is getting to where he doesn’t like to listen again… hardheaded little behind! He is doing good otherwise though. He’s learning alot in his classes… he is in the preschool class at daycare since he turned 4. OMGosh the other day it was so cute… he had a paper with P on it and there was a PIE with a little mouse standing by it with a fork. I said Tre what is that? He said P, P, P, P… that spells a rat cooking pies with a fork LOL I was cracking up. It was sooooo funny!
T’Aliyah gets smarter and wittier everyday. You would not believe most of the stuff that she says LOL Most of the time I am looking at her like how in the world did you come up with that???
Avalyn is growing :( My baby is getting bigger already. She’s still just as sweet as ever. She is a good baby. She’s smiling more now, and cooing “talking” to us. :) She’s just precious!
Figured out why Ava is fussy!
I went to take her milk at the daycare at 3pm and when I walked in the baby room, the girl had my baby laying in a bouncy seat with her bottle PROPPED in her mouth with a blanket! It was not even propped good- it was bouncing all over the place when she sucked so Ava was sucking air mostly!!! I was extremely ticked off… I snatched the bottle out of her mouth and told her DO NOT PROP MY BABY’S BOTTLE IN HER MOUTH- PERIOD! I told her she needed to burp Ava and finish feeding her the milk. My child is only a month old!
