Kylan is 2 years old!
Happy birthday Kylan! We still can’t get to see him but I hope he has a good birthday… I pray that he knows his daddy loves him!
Tre’s delivery…
I am a little more rested now so I can remember a little more. I had a pretty intense labor with Tre! Barry coached me through everything with breathing and watched the whole thing… he was running around snapping pictures and driving me up the wall! He cut Tre’s cord… he is just too proud of his little boy! He keeps talking about getting his hair braided… too funny.

Barry Christopher is here!!!
Tre was born this afternoon at 4:11pm… he was 9 pounds, 6 ounces, 21.5 inches long with a 14 inch head circumference! BIG BABY!!! He had a 1 minute APGAR of 8 and a 5 minute APGAR of 9. He is so precious… he looks just like Briyana but I think he is going to have my color eyes. Briyana loves him. She poked my stomach and said “Tay?” She gave him a lot of love and talked to him- it was so sweet! I went in labor at 10:30am. My epidural didn’t take so my labor was pretty hard but it was short so it wasn’t that bad. I need to sleep so I will write more later!
Hospital Visit…
Barry and I were at the hospital until 4 this morning… my contractions were 4-5 minutes apart, then 3-4, and when we left they were 2-3, but my cervix is not changing so they have me two muscle relaxers to help ease me into labor. Sounds like a bunch of bull they made up to send me home thinking they did something, but hopefully they will work. I am 38.2 weeks pregnant and I am SO ready to have Tre! We have his carseat, swing, bassinet, and everything else all ready for him!
My little baby is a big girl!
Briyana is now 19 months old… She has started using 2-4 word sentences, like I Love You, Let’s go bye-bye, I want the keys, I want a bite, open the door, close the door, etc… She is so smart and healthy! When we go somewhere she puts on her own shoes and even gets her wipes and diapers in her bag, which she likes to carry herself! She has been sleeping in her own room for about a month and goes to sleep all by herself. I can’t wait to get her back in preschool… the one she was in didn’t fit my liking… She is still breastfed at night but I am going to have her stop within the next week or so before Tre is born…
Bri started preschool!
Me and Barry have been married for two months today! Bri started preschool and she loved it! They are working on their numbers and learning how to recognize their name when they see it! She is going to SCHOOL!!! Awwww…
Update on Briyana :)
Briyana loves her little brother already! She sees my belly and she says “TAY!” She gives him hugs and kisses- it’s so sweet. She is so smart… she can count to three now and we started her potty training last week. She points to all her body parts- head, hair, face, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, eyes, neck, shoulders, back, arms, elbows, hands, fingers, ‘ninnies’, belly, ‘boo boo’, legs, knees, feet, and toes! She can undress herself and can almost dress herself but not quite. She will be 18 months in 3 days.
She helps me clean up! She can get all the dishes from the other rooms in the house and bring them to the kitchen… she picks up paper from the floor and puts it in the trash… she also will pull a chair to the washer and pull the clothes out of the hamper on the dryer and throw them in the washer! She knows what you mean when you refer to each room in the house (bathroom, your room, my room, kitchen, etc) and she knows the difference between YOURS and MINE! If you tell her to put something on the floor or to sit on the couch, she will. When she is doing something she isn’t supposed to be doing and she sees us looking at her she will say NO NO or “Switch?” (we have a little switch that she HATES!) She is my little angel and she’s SO beautiful, it’s unreal! I can’t wait till her little brother gets here!
