Time goes by SO quickly! It seems like she was only born a few weeks ago… she’s so big now… and STRONG! She’s the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen- REALLY! Everyone says that. When I take her places, total strangers beg me to hold her! :) She is sitting up and trying to crawl. She pushes up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth like she’s “thinking” about becoming mobile LOL She can go from her “crawling” position to a sitting position allllll by herself. She does this funny little ‘swimming’ motion when she’s laying on the floor! She can hold her own bottle. She watches TV like she knows what is going on, with this serious look on her face. She laughs and smiles and coos at everyone!
She hates it when I leave her. She cries as though I hurt her feelings… poor thing! So most of the time I stay at home or I take her with me when I go places. If I do leave, I have to put her to sleep first… I am still breastfeeding her and she is as healthy as she can be. I can’t stand thinking that I hurt her feelings so normally I don’t leave if she is awake! And I always keep my cell phone on in case she wakes up! She is so sweet… She tries to retrieve objects that are placed out of her reach – at FIVE months old – and when you put something out of her sight, she doesn’t just forget about it. She even gets visibly excited when she “finds” the missing thing! One of her favorite things to do is wrinkly up paper. Yes, sounds like fun, I know LOL She also likes looking at things upside-down! She’s not eating much real food, but she does eat crushed up veggies from time to time like veggies or corn…
